I would Never purchase anything with the Shaw name attached to it. I'll try a different company and next time I'll look at the reviews first which I didn't think you would have to do with carpet but trust me-You Do. After riding Shaw to get this matter fixed, they offered to replace one room of carpeting however, that did not include installation. Also, where my husband's feet were planted to get up and down from his chair was wearing thin after 6 months. They tried to tell me the dog ruined the carpet with her nails in this one particular spot. The carpet was installed in 4 rooms and it's me, my husband and a dog. Customer Service is horrible-especially Sue Dixon who clearly was not interested in helping us at all. Now I wish I would have kept the old stuff. However, we were replacing our 20 year old carpet. yd which sounded to me like a lot of money. It has been same response from sales person. He then passed on to his manager since was very evident. After one day the sales person said "nothing was wrong enjoy your carpet". My husband said he saw a couple cuts from layers that weren’t at piecing but thought was nothing. Inspector said looked like several issues, not snug, frayed areas and most likely faulty carpet. Up popped 8 frayed areas and one large loop that was pushed down sort of twirled. Then my vacuum like sales man said to use without and bristles was used.
Bit of fuzz in certain areas but thought my dyson would work great.
